Parents/Guardians -
I hope you are all enjoying your Fall Break. We have lots of ways to participate next week in school activities.
There is no school for students Monday. Monday is a Professional Development day for teachers. We will be working on Essential standards and new instructional strategies.
Monday night is our site-Based Decision-Making Committee meeting. Thank you to all of those who are participating.
Tuesday we will have a Parent Education workshop on “What are the ELPS?” Our teachers must include these in their instruction to help our English learners be successful with reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Dr. Evelyn Sauceda will be at the school to present this information. We will begin at 5:30.
We are very excited to get our flag and safety patrol up and going again. Thank you Mr. Hampton and Mrs. Dial for leading this endeavor. Our students on flag and safety patrol will be leading the pledges at the NISD School Board meeting on Thursday! If your child is part of this group, please meet us at the NISD Annex at the E.J. Campbell District Support Center Annex, 420 S. Shawnee Street. Come watch our students shine.
After watching our students, head to Whataburger. From 5:00-8:00 Whataburger will donate 25% of all sales to Raguet. You don’t have to cook and you support Raguet…this is a win, win!!
Thank you all for staying connected.
Enjoy your weekend!
