Christmas is coming to Nacogdoches ISD, and the festivities get started this weekend.
Holiday shows are planned for the next two weeks involving elementary, middle school and high school students during the upcoming season.
Here’s a rundown of the schedule:
McMichael Middle School and Nacogdoches High School dance programs will hold their Winter Showcase at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, and Saturday, Dec. 3, at the NHS auditorium.
Thomas J. Rusk Elementary will hold its Christmas music program and bingo game at 5:30 p.m., Dec. 6.
Nacogdoches ISD Choirs will hold a winter concert at 7 p.m., Dec. 6, at the NHS auditorium.
NISD band programs will hold a Christmas concert at 7 p.m., Dec. 12, in the NHS gym.
Mike Moses Elementary School will hold its Winter Wonderland Festival for students and their families, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 13.
The Raguet Elementary choir will make its annual appearance at Rotary Club of Nacogdoches on Wednesday, Dec. 14. (The Raguet choir has been singing at Rotary since 1944.) After the lunchtime show at Rotary, the Raguet students will perform at NISD’s District Support Center.
The Dragonettes Christmas Show takes place at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 14, Thursday, Dec. 15, at the NHS auditorium.
Raguet Elementary will hold its Christmas concert, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 15.
