Nacogdoches High School’s art department made a $500 contribution to Nacogdoches HOPE (Helping Other People Eat) on Tuesday, May 7.
Last month, students of Maranda Marshall, who teaches art and ceramics at NHS, held a chili bowl cook-off as a fundraiser with plans to split the proceeds with HOPE.
Students created bowls to sell to NISD teachers, parents and the community to raise funds to benefit the art department and HOPE.
