Nacogdoches ISD’s Michelle Schaefer (far left in the photo above) and Charles Medley were recognized Thursday during a luncheon held at the Region 7 Education Service Center to honor District Teachers of the Year from around the area.
Schaefer was named NISD’s Secondary Teacher of the Year for her work last year teaching U.S. History to eighth-graders at McMichael Middle School. Medley taught math and English language arts to fifth-graders last year at Nettie Marshall.
