Nacogdoches ISD will hold a vaccine clinic at 9 a.m., May 10, at McMichael Middle School for students who will be in the seventh-grade next academic year. Tdap and meningitis vaccines will be available for 11- and 12-year-olds.
These vaccines are a state requirement unless the district has an original conscientious exemption on file. Students will be unable to receive their class schedule next year until a copy of the vaccine record is on file with the campus nurse.
CLICK HERE to register for the May 10 vaccine clinic. Friday, May 5, is the deadline to register. Parents are not required to be present if NISD has signed consent forms for their student.
Insurance information can be entered on the vaccine registration website. Parents planning to pay out-of-pocket should submit information using the online form and enter “NA” in all insurance blanks.
For those not using insurance, costs for vaccines are $10 per vaccine for students up to 18-years-old. Center-based Aurora Concepts will be administering the vaccines.
