Five members of Nacogdoches High School’s HOSA-Future Health Professionals organization advanced to the state competition that will take place April 22 in Galveston.
At the Area 6 Spring Leadership Conference in February, sophomore Janiya Teal placed third in Health Care Photography. Juniors Malanie Beltran, Gabby Beckwith, Masiyah Cross and Jennifer Ramirez placed third in Public Service Announcement. Anthony Stark was fifth in Prepared Speaking.
HOSA-Future Health Professionals is a student organization with a mission to promote career opportunities in health care and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA is the largest student organization in the nation that prepares students to enter the health care field.
