Workforce Solutions of Deep East Texas hosted its Youth Career Summit Tuesday at the Malcolm Rector Center for Advanced Careers & Innovation at Nacogdoches High School. Fifteen organizations were set up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for students to come through and visit about their post high school graduation plans.
Those on hand included, U.S. Army, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Nacogdoches Fire and Rescue, Pilgrim’s Nacogdoches, BOM (Bank of Montgomery), Texas A&M School of Nursing and Legacy Institute for Financial Empowerment.
Also, Angelina College, Spherion Staffing, Workforce Solutions, Texas Division of Emergency Management, U.S. Marine Corps, Texas Workforce Commission – Vocational Rehabilitation, Willowbrook Nursing Center and Deep East Texas Council of Governments Region 9-1-1 Network.
