Nacogdoches High School teacher Debbie Crenshaw was honored Tuesday, April 26, by the Nacogdoches affiliate of the American Association of University Women. Crenshaw is being recognized by AAUW for her work in public education. The annual banquet is being held at the Fredonia Hotel.
Crenshaw teaches business classes in the Career & Technical Education program at NHS. Each year, dozens of her students earn Microsoft Office Specialist Certifications, a program offered by the software maker to help prep students for life following high school graduation, whether they move on to college or into a career.
Crenshaw has taught in the CTE department for 23 years; she has been a member of the Texas Business & Technology Educators Association and is currently a member of the Association of Texas Professional Educators and the American Association of University Women.
