Nacogdoches Lady Dragons will meet Melissa in a Class 5A, Division I bi-district playoff at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Athens High School (located at 708 E. College St. in Athens).
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the gate using cash or credit/debit card.
The Lady Dragons enter the bi-district game after finishing fourth in District 10-5A. Nacogdoches is 21-10 overall and 10-6 in district games after beating Texas High this week in the regular season finale. Melissa is 23-9 and finished second in District 9-5A.
This year, playoff brackets in Class 5A are divided into Division I and Division II by University Interscholastic League. In District 10-5A, Tyler High – which won the district championship – and Nacogdoches are the two largest schools.
