Parent & Family Engagement Explosion 3.0 is coming July 27, the perfect way to kick off a new school year at Nacogdoches ISD.
The day’s sessions and events will take place 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 9th Grade Building at Nacogdoches High School, with a student showcase set for 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Parent Connection and Engagement Sessions will be hosted by NISD campus principals, teachers, counselors and social workers. There will be student STEAM (for ages 4 to 8) and CTE Learning Stations (ages 9 to 18), a “Rep Your Campus” pep rally, lunch and refreshments, fabulous door prizes, and a free backpack full of school supplies. (Parents must attend the Explosion for students to participate in activities and receive the free backpacks.)
There will also be Student Showcase clinics held for Junior Dragon Football and Junior Dragon Cheer. Thirty-five students will be accepted for each Dragon Clinic.
