The 7th- and 8th-grade boys' soccer teams swept to victories in their season openers on April 18 at Dragon Stadium.

The 7th-grade boys kicked off the evening, taking control of the game right from the opening whistle, dominating the midfield, and keeping the pressure on Pollock Central's defense. The first goal came just minutes in, setting the tone for the rest of the match.

The team's coordinated attacks and ball movement helped them score four more goals before the final whistle. Their 5-0 victory was celebrated with high-fives and cheers from friends and family.

Next up were the 8th-grade boys, who took the field and immediately established leverage over Pollock Central. Their teamwork was apparent as they created countless scoring opportunities.

By halftime, the 8th-grade team had already built a comfortable 3-0 lead. They didn't let up in the second half, continuing to press Pollock Central's defense and add to their goal tally. The final score was 6-0 in favor of the 8th-grade team.

The victories by both teams were a fantastic start to the season. With five games remaining, the boys hope their success will continue as they strive to secure more wins and improve their skills. The coaches praised their players' effort and teamwork, as they work to prepare their players for high school soccer.
