Nacogdoches FFA will hold a Show Team meeting at 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, at the Malcolm Rector Center for Advanced Careers & Innovation at Nacogdoches High School (entrance to the Malcolm Rector can be accessed from Maroney Drive behind NHS).
Parents of students currently in third-grade and eight-years-old and enrolled in Nacogdoches ISD that might be interested in showing livestock through Nacogdoches FFA are invited.
Showing livestock teaches valuable lessons that will be carried with students for the rest of their lives, including learning the responsibility of taking care of an animal and learning how to manage their time and use it wisely.
Students also learned about food supply and how food is produced, about budgeting and profit and loss, and students have the chance to win money and earn scholarships.
