Volunteers Needed for Upcoming UIL Meet
McMichael Middle School will host the District 16-5A UIL Academics Competition on February 27 and they need over 100 volunteers! Breakfast & lunch will be provided. If you are interested in contributing to the education of hundreds of students in our area, contact Amanda Bankston at McMichael via email ( or call the campus at 936-552-0519 and ask to speak with Mrs. Bankston. Preserving Parent Conference

Meet Dr. Karen Crum, author of Persevering Parent at the Preserving Parent Conference on Saturday, February 27, 2016. She offers practical guidance for caregivers and parents of children with special needs. The conference will be held at North Street Church of Christ at 8 a.m. Please call 936-564-2471 to register. The registration fee for the conference is $10, which includes her book and lunch for one at the conference.

Student Support Services Temporary Relocation
Student Support Services has temporarily relocated to the portable building off Hughes Street in front of Student Nutrition and the Martin Center. The relocation affects the following programs and services offered by Student Support Services: Dyslexia, Nursing, Pregnancy Related Services, Special Education, and Section 504.

District begins athletic enhancements, plans classroom additions

Nacogdoches ISD Trustees approved funding for projects to ease campus overcrowding, repair aging athletic facilities and relocate the Ag Farm from recently sold property to acreage on  N.W. Stallings Drive.
