Eleven city park locations add DragonConnected! There are 11 more additions to our list of DragonConnected partners, thanks to City of Nacogdoches. Eleven park pavilion sites (see complete list below) have been updated with free public Wi-Fi. We’re grateful for the city’s work to expand its free Wi-Fi locations, and we encourage our students to make use of all the sites on this list when needed!
As a reminder, here’s how DragonConnected works...
Around Nacogdoches are a number of locations that have agreed to let NISD students temporarily use a Wi-Fi connection to submit completed lessons and download new assignments. In most cases, the internet connection can be made from the parking lot and should only take a few minutes to complete the transfer of data.
The program was created to assist students that might not have access at home to high-speed internet.
DragonConnected partners will have a yard sign in front of their location and/or a logo on the window or door of their business.
NISD is promoting these locations to our families, and we encourage you to use the free service provided by these wonderful partners of the school district. Email updates are sent to parents of NISD students listing the partners along with any instructions for each location. Anyone not receiving an email can contact NISD at publicrelations@nacisd.org to receive that information or call 936-569-5000, ext. 8893.
NISD greatly appreciates the following community partners for their willingness to help our students:
