Christmas programs fill NISD calendar

Tonight’s combined middle school and high school Christmas concert kicks off two weeks of holiday performances across Nacogdoches ISD.

The concert tonight will feature bands from Mike Moses and McMichael middle schools and Nacogdoches High School. The concert is at 7 p.m. in the NHS competition gym.

Thomas J. Rusk Elementary’s fifth-grade Christmas program and ornament decorating is at 5 p.m., Dec. 10.

The Raguet Elementary Choir will perform Christmas carols at noon, Dec. 11, at Rotary Club at the Fredonia Hotel. At 1:30 p.m., the Raguet choir will visit NISD’s District Support Center for a mini concert.

The McMichael Middle School choir concert will take place at 7 p.m., Dec. 12, in the NHS auditorium.

The Raguet Elementary fourth-grade Christmas program will be held at 9 a.m., Dec. 17.

The Emeline Carpenter Elementary Christmas program will be held at 5:30 p.m., Dec. 17.

The NHS Dragonettes will hold their annual Christmas show at 6 p.m., Dec. 18 and Dec. 19, in the NHS auditorium. The Dragonettes will be joined by NHS cheerleaders and twirlers, Mike Moses and McMichael twirlers and dancers from Mike Moses. Admission for the show is $5, and the doors at the NHS auditorium will open both nights at 5:30 p.m.

A sing-a-long featuring third-graders at Brooks-Quinn-Jones Elementary will take place at 2 p.m., Dec. 18.

Nettie Marshall Academy of Dual Language will hold a choir performance for fourth- and fifth-graders at 6 p.m., Dec. 19.

The Fredonia Elementary Christmas sing-a-long will be held at 9 a.m., Dec. 20.
