Pam Latham was born in Nacogdoches, Texas, and has always considered Nacogdoches “home”.  She attended Nacogdoches High School her freshman and sophomore years, then Texas High in Texarkana, Texas her junior year.  Six weeks into her senior year at Texas High, she moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where she graduated from West Anchorage High in 1974.  She returned to Nacogdoches after graduation and attended Stephen F. Austin State University.


In 1987, Ms. Latham moved with her family to Austin, Texas, where she was the Attendance Clerk at Boone Elementary School for two years.  She then began her career as a legal assistant, which continued until she moved back to Nacogdoches in 2005.

Upon her return to Nacogdoches, she was hired as the Chief Clerk for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3.  In August, 2013, she was one of the two chosen to start up the new Truancy Program with the N.I.S.D. Police Department, located at McMichael Middle School.

Ms. Latham is currently the Vice President of the Nacogdoches High School Alumni Association, and enjoys interacting with both past and present N.I.S.D. students.  She has 2 daughters, Amy and Molly, and five grandchildren, Chris, Lance, Amaya, Frances and Waylon.
